4 x 12,5 Caen, Frankrig
July 2024 marked Dall Energy's second project with French green transition pioneer Coriance and its subsidiary Caen la Mer Energie Verte. This contract is the largest project to date for Dall Energy and is part of the largest district heating project in modern French history. Dall Energy will contribute with 4 x 12.5 MW biomass plants to the expansion of the Caen area district heating network, which will contribute to the heating of approximately 40,000 homes.
14 MW Amiens, FR
In October 2023 the French energy giant ENGIE Solutions/Amiens Energie signed a contract with Dall Energy for a 14 MW district heating plant in the city of Amiens, in the north of France. The city of Amiens specifically has large quantities of this type of biomass resource. Dall Energy’s combi-technological plants, where biomass is gasified via pyrolysis, are therefore an ideal solution for the city’s new district heating network.
20 MW Silkeborg, DK
The second largest solar heating plant in the world is in Silkeborg, Denmark. The plant is operated by Silkeborg Forsyning, which entered into a contract with Dall Energy in January 2023. The district heating network will use Dall Energy’s biomass gasification plant to optimize their heat production in conjunction with solar heating and heat pumps.
20 MW Étival-Clairefontaine, FR
Dall Energy is currently working on the construction of a biomass gasification plant with the French paper manufacturer Clairefontaine. The new plant will be connected to the existing cogeneration plant to meet the high energy requirements of the paper factory.
10 MW Salon de Provence, FR
Dall Energy is in partnership with Groupe Coriance and its subsidiary Salon-de-Provence Energie Verte (SEV) in the process of constructing a 10 MW heating plant in the town.
Coriance selected Dall Energy as a supplier because of the significant flexibility which our gasification technology possesses whether it regards fuel supply or the synergy with other sustainable energy sources.
12 MW Sorø, DK
Residents' garden waste produces the heat
In Sorø, the cogeneration comes from the residents' private gardens. The cogeneration plant in Sorø is based on Dall Energy's gasification technology, including our patented biomass gasification furnace which can use garden & park waste as fuel.
In the local area, there are 30 recycling stations where residents can drop off their garden waste.
The residents hereby becomes “self-sufficient” with their contribution to the heat production.
20 MW Rouen, FR
Dalkia selected Dall Energy
Since 2021, La Petite Bouverie, a 20 MW heating plant based on Dall Energy's gasification technology, has supplied heat to Rouen in Normandy. Dall Energy's technology in the form of our biomass gasification furnace and hot water boiler contributes to environmentally friendly energy production, while ensuring compliance with the strict emission and air pollution requirements set by the city of Rouen. The plant uses biomass fuels such as crushed pallets and bark and wood chips.
Dall Energy was selected by Dalkia to construct the heating plant in Rouen. Dalkia is part of the EDF Group, which operates several hundred energy plants in France and has many activities in the rest of Europe and in the USA. They operate around 350 district heating networks, supplying heat to over 2 million households.
6 MW Sindal, DK
The Sindal plant was the first turnkey project delivered by Dall Energy and was completed ahead of schedule in 2018.
The plant produces sustainable cogeneration by using local biomass. The customers of the plant enjoy electricity and heating prices that are better than guaranteed. In the project, the biomass gasification furnace was integrated with an ORC turbine-generator set, which enabled funding from the EUDP (Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program).
10 MW, Sønderborg, DK
The biomass gasification furnace produces a significant part of the heat consumed in the local district heating network. Dall Energy was responsible for designing and specifying the biomass gasification furnace including the fuel feeder. For several years now, the heating plant in Sønderborg has delivered sustainable heat in synergy with the installed solar thermal plants, and with oil boilers as peak load units.
2 MW Warwick Mills, USA
Dall Energy's biomass gasification furnace supplies sustainable heat for factory in the US. The factory called Warwick Mills is a manufacturer of high-tech textiles for body protection. At the factory, they design, manufacture and test advanced composite fibers that are used for protective clothing among others.
The biomass gasification furnace for Warwick Mills was produced in Denmark and shipped to the US in one piece. The client subsequently independently incorporated the furnace into their existent production facilities at the factory.
8 MW Bogense, DK
The biomass gasification furnace for the Bogense Plant was our first furnace delivery. This project was as such the maiden voyage of Dall Energy and proof of concept for our technology. The heating plant was officially handed over to the client in 2012.
The woodchip plant in Bogense is operated by Bogense Forsyningsselskab, which supplies the local area with heat and water.
The heating plant was delivered by the construction company Weiss, which was responsible for the entire plant as a turnkey contract. Weiss purchased the furnace design from Dall Energy, who licensed Weiss to build and commission the technology at the heating plant in Bogense.
